Big Bin rents 14 yard, 30 yard and 40 yard roll-off bins to contractors: big open bins that a truck drops off and picks up full. The phone opens at 6 in the morning on weekdays. Call 416-458-4324 to ask for the papers your company needs, or to swap a full bin for an empty one.

Ordering before the day starts

Big Bin’s weekday lines open at six in the morning, so you can order a bin at the start of your shift.

Full hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm. Saturday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Sunday, closed.

The vendor paperwork

These are the papers a general contractor asks a bin company for before the truck gets near the site.

CVOR abstract
Ontario’s safety record for a trucking business. It is the first thing a serious general contractor asks a hauler for.
WSIB clearance certificate
Proof the vendor is in good standing for workplace injury coverage. It carries an issue date, so it has to be a current one.
Certificate of insurance
Liability coverage, usually with your company added to the policy for the project. A new one is made for each project.
Waste transportation registration
The registration number under which the waste is legally carried.

Swaps and repeat work

When a bin of household and renovation waste is full, we can take it away and leave an empty one. A swap costs the same as the delivery trip for that bin size, and the new bin comes with its own included weight and a fresh 7 days. For clean concrete or clean soil, each new bin is a new rental at the full price.
