The complete fee list

This is the same table that appears on the what a bin costs page. Each row says what the charge is for in plain words, because a line item called “re-spot” on an invoice means nothing to somebody who has never rented a bin.

A load above the fill lineEvery bin carries a painted line. On clean concrete and clean fill it is the only thing that can change the price, because those carry no weight charge at all — the line, not the scale, is the limit. It applies to every material and every size.
Weight over the included tonnage, on mixed wasteDisposal facilities charge by the tonne. A mixed-waste bin includes a stated tonnage; anything above it is billed per tonne against the scale ticket from the facility. Clean concrete and clean fill have no tonnage and no weight charge — the row above is what limits those instead.
Extra rental daysThe price covers 7 days on site, whatever is in the bin. Keeping it longer is charged per day.
Failed deliveryThe truck arrives and cannot place the bin — a car in the way, a locked gate, snow on the spot. The trip has already cost what it costs.

Prohibited items in the loadSome items cost more to dispose of or are refused outright at the gate. Which ones, and what happens if they turn up, is part of the accepted-materials list.

Contaminating a clean loadA bin of clean concrete goes to a recycler cheaply. Mix anything else into it and the whole load is reclassified as garbage at a much higher rate — this is the charge customers are most often surprised by.
